Life Lately

Life as we know it...

Howdy! So lately (yes, I sometimes start my sentences with "so") I have been taking a break from social media. I am still learning how to master that self-discipline piece. I have my favorite accounts I follow that have me in tears because these dang influencers are truly so talented! GAH. It can also be super distracting, and I know I am not the only one. Some people live vicariously through others and I have made up my mind that that will not be me. I'm here on earth to make my own memories and to fight to persevere with my given situation and the adversities of life. I need more time in my life for the things that truly matter such as: The Lord, my responsibilities, and schoolwork. I also started looking for new gainful employment as of super recently. I am trusting the Lord with that as well. What I do know? I deserve to be somewhere where I am valued and respected. I am a leader and will continue to walk in that. Arrogant? No. This is called faith in motion and this little lady was & is made for more. There is so much more to be said here, but all in due time. I hope you'll join me in this journey of persevering and taking one step at a time, with God's hand in mine. My prayer is that you find Hope in these words and in this safe space where God is glorified.
